Although these racks are built heavy duty and strong, you must abide by your Manufacturers guidelines (Owners Manual) roof load capacity per vehicle before loading your rack. The total weight of the rack depending on light bars can be from 35-40kg

LOAD LIMIT - Be mindful of your static and dynamic load when calculating your weights. The difference - Dynamic load is when you're driving and there is motion and uplift draft involved. As per manufacturers owners manual when OFFROAD the dynamic load is reduced approx 30% from highway use. Static load is when the vehicle is stationary, for example a roof top tent when you're inside. Usually the static load is 2-3 times more than dynamic load.
